Lions Club needs toys for Christmas
The Richmond Lions Club is again collecting toys for needy children this Christmas. A toy drop box is be located in the Chrysler showroom where new, unwrapped toys can be placed. If you would like to donate something larger, please see Barb Capozzo.

We now have Richmond Stacker Trailers in stock. They are available in either black or white, and can transport 2 vehicles stacked one above the other, or configured to haul cargo. Consumer Reports: Dealerships keep consumers happy
Contrary to stereotypes, car buyers are largely satisfied with their dealership experiences and feel they paid a fair price for their new or used vehicle, according to new findings from the Consumer Reports National Research Center. Still, some groups proved vulnerable to costly dealer sales tactics.
Nearly 9 out of 10 consumers surveyed (89 percent) were satisfied with their new or used vehicle purchasing experience. More than half (57 percent) said they were very satisfied, while only 5 percent were very dissatisfied, and virtually all (96 percent)  said they got at least a fair deal.
Most shoppers (90 percent) found the new-car dealer's sales staff to be informed and helpful.
 
Resale values for Detroit makers' vehicles go up
Good news for Detroit automakers. After big production cuts, they're starting to see increases in estimates of how much their new models will be worth as used cars, USA Today reports. Ford Motor, along with Japanese automaker Nissan, shows particularly strong growth in estimated three-year residual values of 2008 models, Jairam Nathan, a Banc of America Securities analyst, says in a new report.  Nathan's figures, based on Auto Leasing Guide data, also show used car values up at General Motors and Chrysler. Still, domestic brands haven't caught up with most import brands on resale values, say Kelley Blue Book and ALG. Import automakers had the top 10 brands for retaining value over a five-year period in the 2008 model-year listings.

The fitness program has been going wonderfully, with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves and losing inches. A new program has just been announced which will be a 5 week session for $75, as well as free extra sessions and gift certificates for the biggest "losers". 2 teams will be selected at random to compete to be the biggest "loser".
UPDATE! we want everyone to know that we have updated the fitness club with new state of the art dumbbells for the men who are serious about their training goals. And for those guys who are interested in a men's only Winter Boot Camp, sign up at the club. Classes will begin at the first of the year.
