The base trim for the Grand Cherokee is the Laredo, and it comes with a powerful V6 engine. From the beginning, you have access to 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. You can also take advantage of the standard 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system complete with a sound system containing six high quality speakers. Dual zone climate control and heated mirrors are also standard, even though most SUV models would save them for higher trims.

The next level up is the Limited which contains everything the Laredo has and more. The wheels are expanded from 17 to 18 inches, and those cold Michigan winters get a lot easier with heated seats and a heated steering wheel. Leather seats are also available here.

If you plan to venture off the beaten path, the Trailhawk® trim is right for you. Imagine the Limited trim, but with numerous off-roading features that make conquering rough terrain a breeze. You know it’s going to be good when it’s Jeep, so you shouldn’t be surprised with the standard off-road tires, adjustable air suspension, hill descent control, four-wheel drive, and more. As an added bonus, you also get a navigation system with your infotainment center along with an extra three audio speakers.

For a luxury off-roader, opt for the Overland. This incredible trim comes with massive 20-inch wheels standard. You also get LED daytime lights, fog lights, and xenon headlights. The panoramic sunroof also allows some more natural light into your Grand Cherokee.

If you thought the other trims were powerful, the Summit ups the ante even more. Premium leather upholstery with high quality diamond quilting comes standard along with a nineteen-speaker premium audio system. You get a plethora of safety features like Forward Collision Warning with Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and even a self-park system. If you’re just looking for the extra safety features, you can get them on the Overland if you opt for the High-Altitude Package.

These two trims are put together because they both do the same thing. If you’re looking for incredible performance with unrivaled power, these two are the only real options. The SRT comes with a powerful V8 engine that produces an impressive 475 horsepower. The Trackhawk takes it even further with an almost unbelievably powerful 707 horsepower V8 engine.
