Drivers in Richmond, New Baltimore, and Detroit can learn more about the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica with our comprehensive model review.
The Pacifica comes with a 287-horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission. This is ample power for daily driving and offers lively acceleration for a smooth, reliable ride quality. It also earns up to an EPA-estimated 18 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway, which are some of the best fuel economy ratings in the class.
Minivans are designed to accommodate everyone inside the vehicle, both in design and ride comfort. The Pacifica is not only surprisingly agile for a minivan, but it also has strong brakes and precise steering that keep it comfortable and composed through tight turns and winding curves.
The Pacifica comes standard with a 7-inch Uconnect® infotainment system, Bluetooth® compatibility, a USB port, and Uconnect® Access, which lets you remotely lock, unlock, track, and start your vehicle with your phone. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration are also standard, allowing you to stream all your media from your phone to the vehicle’s onboard system.
The Pacifica can also be equipped with satellite radio, a 13-speaker Alpine or 20-speaker Harman Kardon® sound system, two 10-inch rear-seat touchscreens, a rear-seat entertainment center, a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and an upgraded Uconnect® system with navigation, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. KeySense parental controls, which let you set parameters for teen drivers, and a built-in vacuum are also available.
The Pacifica offers seating for seven people in its standard configuration. With the available second-row middle seat, the capacity increases to eight. Cloth seats are standard, but leather seats, heated and ventilated seats, and eight-way power-adjustable front seats are optional upgrades. The seats are comfortable and supportive, providing plenty of long-distance comfort for passengers, and the ample head- and legroom ensure that adults have the necessary space in all rows.
With all the seats up, the Pacifica has 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which is enough for shopping bags or small luggage. With the second and third rows folded, over 140 cubic feet of space is available, giving you the space for sporting equipment or even small furniture. Stow ‘n Go® seating is available as well, which can be folded into the floor for more ease and convenience. In other minivans, these seats would need to be removed from the vehicle altogether.
