Jeep Compass Trim Levels: Sport
The foundational level of the 2019 Compass is the Sport. This comes standard with the 2.4L Tigershark® MultiAir®2 I-4 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. However, you can switch it out for a 6-speed automatic (with front-wheel drive) or a 9-speed automatic.
The 9-speed automatic transmission is only available on 4-wheel drive (4WD) models of the Jeep Compass, which includes the Jeep Active Drive full-time 4WD system and the Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System.
Inside the cabin, you can stay informed and entertained with the standard Uconnect® 4 infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen display, along with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration. Integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth® is also standard, allowing you to easily stream music or make hands-free calls from your device.
2019 Compass Latitude Trim Level
The Latitude trim level takes everything from the Sport and adds in some extra safety features. The Advanced Safety Group is available with the Jeep Compass Latitude and includes collision mitigation features like:
- Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking
- Adaptive Cruise control with Stop & Go
- LaneSense® Lane Departure Warning Plus
The Safety and Security Group is also available on this trim level, which adds in features like Blind Spot Monitoring. This provides a visual warning when another vehicle enters your side blind spot so that you can be more confident when changing lanes in well-traveled areas.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk®
The 2019 Jeep Compass Trailhawk® trim level comes standard with the 9-speed automatic transmission and the Jeep Active Drive Low 4WD system. This includes a 4Lo mode with a 20:1 crawl ratio for extreme off-roading. It also has an off-road suspension to help you adventure with freedom and ease.
This trim level upgrades your infotainment system to an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and includes a 7-inch full-color Driver Information Display in the driver dashboard. The Driver Information Display is where you can view important information like vehicle diagnostics, instant fuel economy, and off-road performance.
If you need a little help descending a steep incline, Hill Descent Control is also standard. This helps you maintain a steady speed without using your brakes when traveling downhill. Not only is this a safety feature, but it may also prolong the life of your brake pads.
Limited Trim of the Jeep Compass
The Limited trim comes standard with a 9-speed automatic transmission (4WD models) or a 6-speed automatic transmission (FWD models). It also makes the Jeep Active Drive full-time 4WD system available.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find several additional comfort features. As the driver, you’ll be able to power-adjust your seat up to eight ways to improve comfort and visibility. This is also the first trim to include lumbar support and standard heated front seats.
