Families in the Richmond, New Baltimore, and Detroit, MI, areas may be looking for their next minivan to meet their transportation needs. We think they’ll want to take a closer look at the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica to fit those needs.
That’s why our team at Dick Huvaere’s Richmond CDJR has put together a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica review. We want to show car shoppers all the exciting features this model offers, so you can decide if it’s a good fit. Read on to learn more about this thrilling new ride!
Chrysler Pacifica: People and Cargo Versatility
The base 2018 Pacifica features second- and third-row Stow ’n Go® seats, so you can fold those rows flat into the floor for all the cargo space you’ll need. You can even slide front seats forward to access in-floor bins easier. The max 140.5 ft3 of cargo space is plenty to store everything you need.
The Pacifica’s available easy-tilt seating makes accessing the third row of seats far easier. At the lift of a lever, the second-row seats tilt forward, so third-row passengers can climb in behind them, rather than over them (and their occupants!). The passenger doors extend back far enough to allow generous third-row access.
See how the Chrysler Pacifica stacks up against the Honda Odyssey in this complete car comparison.
The Chrysler Pacifica’s base Uconnect® infotainment system has an attractive, integrated 7-inch display touchscreen with six speakers and active noise cancellation, so you can enjoy your music fully, without outside interference. It’s Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capable, so you can access all your phone apps and music library easily.
The available Uconnect® Theater adds dual 10.1-inch HD touchscreens and HDMI inputs, plus headphones and a Blu-ray™ player. The screens anchor on the backs of the front-row seats and store by folding down into the seats. Whether by watching movies or playing games, the whole family will stay entertained and engaged during long rides.
All 2018 Pacifica models feature 3.6L V6 engines that produce 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, making for lively acceleration and good power for your daily driving needs. They’re very efficient on fuel, too, with EPA-estimated fuel economies of 19 city/28 highway MPG on most trims1.
All that power allows for 3,600 pounds of towing capacity. You can hook up a speedboat or a couple of jet skis and haul them to any of the nearby freshwater lakes for a weekend of fun. The 2018 Pacifica’s electronic stability control comes standard and will help you maintain directional control during that trip.
